For example, if you’re a personal trainer, you can increase folks health, their strength, their energy… you could decrease their body fat, their anxiety, their medical bills, but we have to pick one and use the Million Dollar Message to communicate what you do.

Instead of struggling, you need to use a formula. When I started out, I bought every single book on advertising copywriting… from Joe Sugarman, to scientific advertising… to David Ogilvy.

And that stuff really matters. It made me a pretty good copywriter.

But I realized, if you look at all the successful campaigns on the planet, they all have a really clear measurable message that’s formulated a certain way.
