These curious organs are responsible for evolutionary changes in the human form and spirit.  This is within the context of Chinese Medicine.  The belief is that the human soul is endowed with the intrinsic ability to elevate into “higher” dimensions of consciousness.  This follows the inception of the Ling-soul within the uterus after sexual intercourse (genitalia).  After birth, these ascend the “ladder” of life (via the spine) toward heaven (represented by the brain).By understanding these curious organs and bowels in particular, one can change the dynamics of the human form (reflected by its constructs – the bone and vessels).
